iReady Diagnostic
Students will be taking a Diagnostic Assessment, in the fall, winter and spring, called iReady, to help determine how to best meet their individual needs in math and reading.
This assessment will not be graded, but instead will inform students’ individual strengths and areas needed to improve. The time to complete this assessment will vary from student to student. On average, it takes about two, 45-minute time periods to complete and it does not need to be completed in one session at one time.
It is important to understand that since iReady is a diagnostic test, students should expect some questions they know and can understand along with many others they will not know. It’s ok to make a best guess and move on. This should not be a frustrating process! This diagnostic is used to identify their current level of performance in math and reading and will provide teachers the necessary information to meet the needs of each student.
