Math Expressions
This year we will be using the Math Expressions curriculum as to guide us through third grade math. Math Expressions is a Grades K–6 mathematics core curriculum program that features scaffolded instruction for all learners. Math Expressions enhances students' understanding through conceptual supports, accessible algorithms, and structured problem-solving opportunities.
Math Expressions math curriculum is divided into 14 math units that are taught over the course of the year. Each of the units focus on a group of related math concepts. Here are overview of the math units we will cover this year:

- Unit 1 Multiplication and Division With 0–5, 9, and 10
- Unit 2 Multiplication and Division with 6s, 7s, 8s and Multiply with Multiples of 10
- Unit 3 Multidigit Addition and Subtraction
- Unit 4 Fractions, Time, And Data
- Unit 5 Measurement and Fractions
- Unit 6 Write Equations To Solve Word Problems
- Unit 7 Measurement and Polygons
